Entrepreneurship Success Program

{ESP} last Saturday 17-6-06

Began at 10 am till about 4pm... Conducted by our Global Speaker Terence Tan...

A very professionally conducted half day seminar that dwell into Entrepreneurship...

It was opened through Invitation only!! not any ah-gou or ah-mao / tom-dick-harry can join...

I shall leave aside the content of this interesting session, and instead i wanna talk about this person, the Speaker...

How many times have you heard of ugly duckling turned beautiful swan story and feels that "aiya.. that will never be me!"??

How many times have you read in papers or see people in your own eyes who from very simple and even torn family background, rising from the ash and turn a young and successful entrepreneur? And lament in your own mind "aiya... that will never be me! cos 'tian' forever not fair one mah.. my family background from his is different.."

How many times do you want to see, hear and feel in your heart this kind of lament? complain?

And frankly speaking, i did and sometimes do as well...
so, what's the difference?

Have you taken the step to change? to be better? and stop the energy-wasting loser kind of conversation?

This man is a brave man.. He did not ever jump into river to save some drowning kids or burning house to carry an old lady... He is brave because he was able to face up to himself...
He was ever so truthful to himself and to people around him...

A kind-hearted and ever so patience and willing to help mentor...
He loves little mammals.. like puppies and rabbits...
He loves fast cars like ferrari and lotus...
He loves coaching and guiding people like you and me...

Ever before, Conrad and me came up with this business plan and voice the proposal to Terence... He thought through it for few minutes and said, "ok, let's talk more tonight after everything has ended."
So, we stayed on till the entire office is empty, leaving only me, conrad, guang rong, justin, Terence and Gladys! We moved into the training room, talked, discussed, laughed, giggled, drew even on the 4-5m long glass white board and this went on till 5 pm...

a good whole 5 hours plus.. to discuss something that me and conrad thought of that might have a chance of it working well...

Do you ever have a professor / teacher who is willing to spend a night with you in office till twilight time...?

Do you ever have a chance to even speak about your idea that you thought might create a ripple effect?

Do you ever met someone like this before?

At this place, these people create and coach the talent in you...

Why wait?

If you ever have another chance to meet up with him in seminars or in person, grab the chance and never miss it... you will regret...

Alright.. enough of side tracking.. Back to yesterday's session...

The first thing LingZhi mentioned to me is "Why the session content does not fit the Title?"
And i got nothing to say but to agree...
Cos it has gone beyond just B Mindset... is more more and more about the 4 Cornerstones...

What are Cornerstones?, you may ask.

Imagine a rectangular house.. if the entire house is made of cement brick and the 4 corners are made of plastic, what do you think will happen to the house?
Get the idea?

Cornerstones are like the fundamentals, the basic building block of a structure... just like cells are the basic building block of our body!
So, to understand the linkage (B-ridge) between your friends and Wbg, what are the 4 cornerstones that need to be present in you Yourself???

They are the ''P'', ''B'', ''Ln'' and ''L''.
Stands for:
P-roducts''
B-usiness''
Ln-Learning''
L-Leaders''...

So, the question was.. Why are Each and Everyone Worth At Least the 6k?

We went brainstorming & each group came up with cranky and logical and funny & plainly clear answers as to why each is worth the value??

Before you read on, and if you have not attended yesterday's session, Can you Think of Any???
Ask yourself this... Can you??

If yes, you proceed...
If you can't even squeeze out just a single one reason... hhmm i suggest you stack your pillow up tonight and think first... k?

We started off with ''Leaders"...

Why? --> Irene shared about Leaders' time and effort... "Hello, you think they have nothing better to do, is it?" And Their Opportunity Cost of spending time coaching us is so high, because they can spend the same amount of time on someone else and get more value in return, such as doing consultancy for 1/2 hours, for few hundreds to thousands of dollars...
Yet they choose to spend it on US!! (who are we? are we blood-related? NO!) And what do they get in return... Nothing! (prob, sometimes even some with that stuck-up attitude face that even a parrot would puke at!)

So, why do they want to spend it on us?
Because they see the value in us improving our lives!!!
Because they are trully concerned about our advancement in our Wbg Career and our family lives!!!
Because they care!
Because they want to Impact & Improve people's lives!!!
Because they want to Empower, Equip & Enrich YOUR LIFE!!!
Because they P-A-Y it F-O-R-W-A-R-D!, get it?

--> Mine agrument to this debating topic is... now, alright... 6k is money... What can 6k do for us if we don't spend in improving our lives??
# go Batam 30 times, will you want to ?
# buy 3 LV bag, do you have 3 hands ?
# pay for 4 tire rims and at most plus a car boot, do you want ?
# eat 60 times at LingZhi Restaurant, aren't you bored with the food?
# buy a european sette (=a plush sofa, contribution from Xian Hui =p), and sit it at home and look at it?

C'mom friend.. 6k is not alot... meaning it can't get you to where you want if you just hold on to it and stuff under the pillow and sleep...

Savings is good... then ever, a mentor of mine asked: "What are you then Saving FOR?"

My answer: "For just in case situation, aka rainy day or emergencies."

His reply: "So, that's why 'Tian' (=God) will prepare alot of Rainy Days for you! Because this is what you 'hope' for, isn't it ?"

I asked further: ''So, what should saving be FOR?''

He said something that never cross my mind ever before... sit tight! ha... :

"We Save Today In Order To Earn MORE TOMORROW!"

Well, it took me sometime to get it into my brain... Ask me now, do i 1000% understand and stand by it.. i can't say 100%yes...
But because i am willing and I MUST fight with my subconscious for this, hence, my thoughts, my mind is changing!...My life is improving!!

And on hindsight, and if you can't be sure what can 6k do for you?
Write down a list of events or things you WANT/MUST HAVE with 6k... there isn't much... right? *suck thumb*

I am not feeding you all the fun knowledge we get yesterday here... just a glimpse of it for you to taste enough of regret... *evil smirk*..
Hence, there are definitely more than just these few pointers... haha...

What more? You decide where you want to head towards!! What are the R-E-S-U-L-T that you want to get in LIFE??? ok.. this this this and *PAK* you are off in that direction you desire!!
How long have you studied since primary school? 20 years? and how much have you paid? at least a $100,000!! And once you graduated, you enter the Working University and optimistically you get paid a good whole deary 3k????!!!!
Fair? Reasonable? And what are we offering you?

6k and throughout the entire journey, your earnings is LIMITLESS!!!!!!
